Everyone’s Welcome At DUNGOG PEDALFEST 2018

Dungog PEDALFEST is a weekend celebration of cycling, sociability with MTB orienteering and serious bike rides over the weekend. This weekend is a major fund-raising event for the local community
and is proudly supported by the Rotary Club of Dungog a cause well worth pedalling for!

PEDALFEST is a fantastic family event which gives Mums, Dads, Aunties, Uncles , Neighbours, Kids and even Grandparents the chance to explore the beautiful scenic Williams Valley! Take a look at the different rides we have on offer over the PEDALFEST weekend in 2018.

Tourer, Racer, MTB’er, leisure rider or just out for a cruise, around the town’s historical buildings we have a ride that will suit you (Did we mention the free refreshments?)

Criterium Racing
2018 will see the introduction of the inaugural Dungog Criterium. As the town is set to erupt when cyclists take to the streets in the heart of Dungog. Riders will race multiple Laps of the Dungog CBD as spectators cheer them on for each enduring lap.

The weekend long event attracts around 300 participants and their families which takes place over the weekend from the 21st to the 23rd September 2018.

But the event isn’t just for the visitors, there is a big call out for the Dungog community to get involved. Whether it be as a participant, competitor or most importantly as a volunteering your time to help out, there’s an option to suit everyone.

One of the event organisers John Walton explained that volunteering can come in a variety of ways from marshalling, traffic control, food distribution and directing competitors around the various rides which can involve a range of time commitments offering as little as a couple of hours, half or full day to the whole weekend.

DUNGOG this is your event and needs full community support!

The PEDALFEST committee would like to acknowledge the support of RFS, SES, Dungog Lions and Dungog shire council for their support as volunteers.

To compete, entries are open and all you have to do is visit our new website at .
